The debut solo album by Jake Wallace, from Belfast doom/sludge metal band Elder Druid. The follow-up to 2021's EP 'Lacuna', Jake continues down the path of piano & acoustic guitar arrangements, focusing on tones of melancholy, ethereal soundscapes and contemplative ambience.

Featuring re-mastered versions of the 5 tracks on 'Lacuna', along with 7 brand new tracks, 'Lustre of the Dark' continues the musical story of 'Lacuna', touching on themes of self-discovery, isolation and the balance between light and dark.

The album features two special guest vocal performances, with Aqua Tofana singing on 'Mourning Veil' and Clare Kearney singing on 'Sanguine'. It also features No Naime playing flute on a re-mastered version of 'Elysian' from the EP 'Lacuna'.
